3.1 License Configuration

During the initial login, the administrator will be automatically requested to import the license. Click “IMPORT LICENSE” to import the license from the local hard disk or other network location. Xcalscan will automatically determine the validity of the license. If the license is valid, it will automatically guide the administrator to the administration section.

3.1.1 Viewing the License Information

After logging into the system, the administrator will be able to view the license information by clicking “SETTINGS” > “LICENSE” in the left navigation bar of Xcalscan. The information contains the following fields.

Customer Name:   The name of the customer that purchased the license

License Number:  The unique ID of the license

Product Name:      The Xcalscan product name

Expires:                    The date the license will expire

Users:                       The number of current users and the maximum number of users

3.1.2 Updating the License

It should not normally be necessary for the administrator to update the license unless the license has expired. At that time please contact your Xcalibyte account manager or technical support by sending an email to support@xcalibyte.com.
